Responsibilities

  1. Develop product and solution requirements, working backwards from the customer.
  2. Identify target market segments, segment sizing and ideal B2C customer targets, and design forward-thinking positioning approaches for each segment
  3. Start with the customer: Understand not only the conflicting needs of the different end-user personas, such as IT administrators and executive decision makers, but also the needs of the internal teams supporting the end-user's migration journey.
  4. Develop the tools roadmap and prioritize features and projects based on customer and business impact.
  5. Communicate effectively so all stakeholders understand the direction and vision for the product and are aligned.
  6. Manage feature backlogs in partnership with the business owners, architects, engineering and key stakeholders
  7. Proactively engage with all areas of the organization to identify inter dependencies, mutually beneficial goals, and influencing leadership.
  8. Set up scalable and reliable ways to measure success and mechanisms to detect issues before they become risks.
  9. Be a true product owner, being accountable for every aspect of your business, from delivering quality features, ensuring performance, security, scalability and responsiveness to users’ needs.
  10. Responsible for building roadmap from a business and team perspective.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business or relevant field of study
  2. 7+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
  3. Must have prior experience in leading a team of product managers
  4. A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and a knack for driving and/or being associated with benchmark industry products/services
  5. Support marketing in building core content and website/promotional materials
  6. Monitor the results of product launches, evangelism activities and marketing campaigns to reach target audiences effectively
  7. Establish customer feedback loops to synthesize feedback and consolidate feature requests, providing category/industry/workload specific requirements to engineering and driving follow-up actions and communications
  8. Demonstrate people leadership by mentoring and coaching colleagues and taking the lead overseeing the activities of cross-functional teams
  9. Speak at events, deliver internal enablement activities, support trade shows, interact with customers/partners and engage with analysts/media
  10. Work effectively across company with groups such as sales, business development, solutions architects, services, and evangelists to achieve business goals
  11. Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
  12. The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
  13. Superior written and verbal communication skills
  14. You should also be a strong leader and negotiator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and trade-offs to senior executives
